I saw a quick survey this week on a yammer community about the degree of employee’s participation on their internal social platform. Not so much answers, but 80% of them pointed the fact that only a few colleague where actively participating.
When on the web, benchmark is 1% creators -9% contributors -90% lurkers, some companies, where social platform implementation was a complete and achieved process/project, talk about 5% creator. (Do you have some benchmarks for this by the way?)
